Day 1: Kandy
  • Also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, this temple is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka. The city itself is rich in heritage and nestled amidst scenic hills and a tranquil lake.
Day 2: Dambulla / Sigiriya
  • Home to the Golden Temple, Dambulla is famed for its series of cave temples filled with ancient Buddha statues and intricate wall paintings. It is a revered pilgrimage site and offers spiritual insight into over 2,000 years of Buddhist history. The temple is built under a massive rock overhang, providing breathtaking views.
  • Often called the Lion Rock, Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress and former royal palace built atop a 200-meter high rock. Day 3: Anuradhapura
  • Anuradhapura is one of the oldest cities in Sri Lanka and a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. It is home to ancient stupas, monasteries, and the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi tree, believed to be the oldest recorded tree in the world. As a former royal capital, it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in history and spirituality.

Day 4: Wilpattu National park
  • Wilpattu National Park is Sri Lanka’s largest and one of the oldest national parks, known for its leopard population and natural lakes (called “villus”). It offers a peaceful safari experience through dense forest, open grasslands, and serene water bodies. Wildlife includes elephants, sloth bears, and various bird species.
Day 5 & Day 6: Pasikuda or Jaffna
  • Pasikuda is a peaceful coastal town known for its calm, shallow turquoise waters and long sandy beaches. It’s popular for snorkeling, diving, and relaxing in a serene environment. The area also offers cultural sites and vibrant marine life, making it ideal for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts.
  • Jaffna is a culturally rich city in northern Sri Lanka, known for its Hindu temples, colonial architecture, and Tamil heritage. Key attractions include the Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, Jaffna Fort, and vibrant local cuisine. It offers a unique cultural experience distinct from the southern parts of the island.
